Set in the aftermath of A New Hope, this new add-on plants you in the shoes of a chap called Tyber Zann, a mop-haired pirate leader who's decided it's about time the universe sat up and took notice of his criminal consortium. If you're an Empire At War fan gazing hopefully at these pages, it's my misfortune to inform you that Forces Of Corruption falls into the latter category. Then, more often than not, they slap you round the chops with a set of unimaginative, tacked-on features, identikit soulless levels and a couple of new units/weapons (delete as appropriate). First they get you all keyed up and clammy with their hype machines, inspiring you to dream of long, wonderful nights spent reacquainting yourself with richly embellished versions of your favourite games. You also need to point to where Steam installed the game, the previous solution only works if you have Steam install your games on the C: drive under Program Files(x86) If you installed the game on a different drive or have Steam in a different directory, then you will have to change the path to correspond with that.Expansion packs are funny old things. Can you help me?ĭo you have the Steam version of the game? If you don't, then the path will be a bit different. It just launches the base Star Wars Empire at War game. Hello Supernova, I would like to know if your solution still applies because I recently downloaded the Absolute Corruption Mod 2.4, followed the same steps justanoob followed on the download site, then when it didn't work I came here and changed the shortcut target and start in of the ACM2.4 shortcut to exactly what you posted which justanoob chose as the best solution, and when I click on the shortcut and run as administrator is still didn't work. With 'Start in' being: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\īe aware that you may have to right click and run it as Administrator, starting in Windows Vista any programs put into the Program Files folder requires administrative privilege to run, and may not work properly if you just run it normally. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\ACM2.4

Okay, it looks like Steam installed the expansion pack in a different way than the retail disc.
